^Lot 2010 COMPLETE PRE-64 WINCHESTER MODEL 70 BOLT ACTION

RIFLE RECEIVER. Cal. N/A. S# 306725. Bbl. N/A. Model 70 bolt action rifle receiver originally mfg. in 1954. Receiver exhibits standard factory markings consisting of the Winchester trademark logo on the left receiver wall, with the S# marked on the right side of the chamber. Receiver and bolt handle exhibit a bead blasted matte blue finish, with the bolt shroud, cocking piece, trigger guard, and floorplate exhibiting a polished blue finish. Bolt body and follower are polished in-the-white. Receiver is factory drilled and tapped with 4 plug screws. Bolt does not match the receiver (S#: 306521). CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light wear and thinning, some superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation. Bolt body exhibits scattered spots and areas of age related discoloration. Floorplate is slightly warped outwards. Proper manual mechanics. PROVENANCE: Norman Olliff Estate. (25-6142/MLW).
